Breaking—Gov Obaseki has moved his Deputy’s office to a new building under renovation
Philip Shaibu Deputy To the Edo State governor office has been moved out of Edo Government House. The new office is now situated at no 7, Dennis Osadebey Avenue, close to the government house.
The new deputy governor office used to be the state Public Procurement office commissioned by the former Governor of the state, Senator Adams Oshiomhole, on December 16, 2014.
This was due to the brawl between the Governor Godwin Obaseki and his Deputy, a prolong misunderstanding that has lasted for a couple of months now.
Recall that at the Edo State 30th anniversary held popular Benin Festival Hall, the goverrnor Obaseki had denied his the access of his deputy Shaibu to see him after being stopped by his security aid.
The newly shifted office of the deputy Governor Philip Shaibu is under serious maintenance as the building looks old while the sign board is aso immediately posted for public notice.
