Nigeria army kill 23 terrorists, rescue 41 hostages

 

According to the defense headquarters, troops in various operations around the region killed no less than 23 terrorists and arrested 137 criminals. 

Five kidnappers, 22 oil thieves, and one informant are among the suspects. 

In addition, 41 kidnapped nigerians were rescued in the operations carried out between august 14 and 25. Maj gen edward buba, the director of defense media operations, said on friday, "although the men and women of the armed forces are battling and dying for the country every day, they have made significant strides."
