Insecurity currently have escalated as attacks and killings remains the order of the day in Nigeria, though it seems the Government are not ready to input more efforts as the country heading to the state of anarchy.

A new report coming from Northern Nigeria has said bandits have killed not less than 40 people in attacks on Sabon Garin Damri and Kalahe villages in Bakura Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

Mean while, residents narrated that the criminals raided the community at Sabon Garin Damri with dozens of motorcycles, shooting sporadically at all directions. A medical facility in the community was also attacked.

According to Aminu Yusuf who narrated the ordeal said “In Sabon Garin Damri they killed at least 26. There after, the armed criminals moved to Kalahe villages, killing more than 10 persons there. In between these two communities at least 40 bodies were recovered,”

Few weeks back, more than 10 criminals were killed by troops following a gunfight. The troops repelled an attack on Bakura community and were able to seize large herds of cattle rustled by the armed men.

The spokesman of the state police command, SP Muhammad Shehu, could not be reached for comment at the time of filing the report when contacted.

These attacks has been going simultaneously over the week though the security forces are also contributing their best as this does not seems to bother the government so much as they focus on fourth coming 2023 presidential.
