Popular Ghanaian singer known by his stage name as Shatta Wale has urged his fellow Ghanaians to respect Nigerians cause they understood music talent.

 The Ghanaian music star made this statement via his verified Twitter handle on Sunday accompanied by several other tweets 

 

Although the singer has had series of back to back beefs with top Nigerian artists like Burnaboy, Wizkid and fans in the past 

Shatta Wale stressed that Nigerians should be respected for the hard work they put into their music industry, that they truly understood talent.

He further slammed his fellow Ghanaians for comparing themselves to Nigerians because both countries have a different lifestyle and that Nigerians should not interfere in the conversation with his fellow Ghanaians.

According to Shatta Wale via his tweet, “Please can we just respect Nigerians for their hard work and stop comparing our lazy lifestyle to theirs.

“It’s a shame people think Nigerians will come hard at me but see they are the ones doing the streaming because they understand what talent means. Ghana music is a shame,” he wrote.

He wrote, “So man can’t talk to some foolish Ghana fans in peace?

“Nigeria pls ano come for una I beg (sic), I am talking to Ghana foolish fans association, I will come to you when I have beef over there please.”
