Plateau State South Senator prof, Daduut along side 14 journalists survived an attack by angry mob in Plateau~details below

Insecurity has taken a radical dimension with politicians paving way for political unpatriotic style of leadership which is perceived to be fueling and escalating social unrest in Nigeria.
The senator representing Plateau South, Prof. Nora Ladi Dadu'ut and 14 Journalists as well as some of her aides on Thursday luckily escaped death by whiskers, when their convoy ran into an angry mob at Namu community in Quaan pan Local Government Area of Plateau State.
According to a valid source, some hard-men with assaulted weapons stormed the community on Thursday afternoon April 28, 2023, and abducted four members of the community.
Following the incident some angry youths blocked the convoy of the Senator and started burning tires, insisting that the Senator must work out the release of the four persons before she is released.
Mean while, those trapped in the community include the Commissioner for Science and Technology, Hon Musa Gyang and Director General of ICT Plateau State, Mr. David Dasar, along side some aides of the Senator.
Some traditional rulers who attended the event could not calm down the situation as the youths looms in anger despite being pleaded
The senator stealthily escape the mob just few hours after troops of the Operation Safe Heaven arrived the scene and subsidized the situation.
However, In a related development following a review of security breaches in Namu on Thursday ,the Authorities of Quaan Pan Local Government Council of Plateau State, impose a dusk to dawn curfew in Namu town and its environs with immediate effect.
A statement signed by Hon Gideon Godenaan Dashe, Secretary of Quaan Pan Local Government Council of Plateau state said that
citizens of the area are expected to remain indoors, until further notice while security operatives have been mandated to take charge of the town.
Citizens are advised to remain law abiding and avoid any action that will cause further menace ,they said.
