$25B London high-speed Underground rail way to start working soon~details below

 The London constructed a largely $25 billion dollars high-speed underground railway connecting the East to West about to kick off soon.

According report the underground railway will start functioning from May 01, 2022. This new railway will transport passengers across different locations in UK in a shorter time frame that usually turn out to be in hours by public transports or flights.

It took three years to dig between 2012 and 2015, using 81,000-ton tunnel boring machines. The twin tunnels, 20 feet in diameter and up to 40 meters (130 feet) deep, and weave around building foundations, London Underground tunnels and countless other structures and utilities.

Mean while, the new train is capable of boarding 1,500 passengers at up to 90mph to 450 that is if passengers are lucky enough to get a seat. The 62-mile network is built around a core consisting of 26 miles of brand-new tunnels through central London.

The train will be speeding beneath the streets of central London, serving Docklands and the City of London financial districts, the shopping and theater hub of the West End and Heathrow, as well as commuter belt towns in Essex, Kent and the Thames Valley on either side of the city.

However, When fully in functionality the new the queen Elizabeth Line, known as Crossrail  is estimated to make a journey from Canary Wharf to Heathrow for just 38 minutes.
