Popular pastor resigned for the post of a traditional ruler~details below

 

One of the Redeemed Christian Church of God lead pastor Ghandi Olaoye has resigned from his pastorship position following a bid to become the traditional ruler of Ogbomosho (Soun of Ogbomosho) in Oyo State.

Mr Olaoye who has been a Christian leader for several years of his life made a this shocking change, Mr Olaoye’s potential kingship will tilt his religious practices towards traditional practices required of the occupant of the first-class royal stool.

According to report, the Soun of Ogbomoso, Mr Olaoye will be expected to observe traditional rites of ascension to the throne of Ogbomoso and will also learn to adapt to traditional festivals of the Ifa oracle, Ogun and Egungun, practices that are against his professed Christian faith.

This sudden change of faith has resulted to several negative outlook as many wonder what  is actually going in the Christiandom, 

But the general overseer GO of the Redeemed Christian Church of God has not commented concerning the actions of the former pastor.
