Sani the younger brother to the Africa richest man Aliko Dangote is dead following complication in health issues.

According to a valid report, he died on Sunday at a US hospital where he was admitted for treatment, it is indeed a great lose to the billionaire's family.


While announcing his passing on by the Dangote Group Industries in a statement at the early hours of Monday, “It is with a heavy heart but with a total submission to Almighty Allah that we announce the passing on of our Group Vice President, Alhaji Sani Dangote today, 14th November, 2021,” Dangote Industries said in a statement in the wee hours of Monday."

“May Allah SWT grant him mercy and amit him in Aljannat-al-Firdaus.”

Aliko Dangote the billion, broke into tears on hearing the sudden departure of his younger, he was shocked on hearing the news he recalled speaking with him few weeks back as they both laugh on the phone.

The late Sani was the chairman of Dansa Holdings Ltd and was formerly a non-executive director at NASCON Allied Industries Plc.

late Sani was An established businessman and serial investor, he had interests in the manufacturing, agriculture, banking, and oil services sectors.

He sits on the board of at least 14 companies including Nigerian Textile Mills Plc, Nutra Sweet Limited, Gum Arabic Limited, and Dangote Textile Mills Limited before his sudden demise. 

Meanwhile, he is also a board member at Alsan Insurance Brokers, Dan-Hydro Company Limited, Dansa Food Processing Company Limited and Dangote Farms Limited.

However, Sani Dangote was a professional polo player, a two-time president of the Lagos Polo Club.

He is a member of several chambers of commerce, a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Shipping of Nigeria and president of the Fertiliser Producers and Suppliers Association (FERSAN). Sani Dangote was a one-time consul-general of the Romanian Embassy in Nigeria.
