Obi Cubana not released, he's still in EFCC custody a source said~details below

 The Nigerian business mugule "Obi Cubana" who was invited by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Monday is still custody after a false information telling that he has been released.

His Passport was Seized by the Commission on Wednesday, following the invitation November 03, 2021 at 7:39 a.m as claimed to be released by several media news. But a valid source had said that Obi Cubana is still being grilled in the commission's office in Abuja.

Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, who was held for an allerge money laundering is still in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) office at the capital city FCT. 

However, the EFCC Boss, Abdulrasheed Bawa is yet to comment publicly concerning the socialite's held in office as all his travel documents had been seized likewise, to prevent him leaving the country while investigation still on going. 

According to a source said: “Obi Cubana has not been released, he is still having quality sessions with investigators over alleged money laundering running into millions of naira and tax fraud. 

“He will be released when he has satisfactorily responded to all questions relating to his involvement in various illegal deals. As part of investigation, his travel document has been temporarily seized pending the conclusion of investigations.” 

Although, Nigerians has been wondering why the EFCC boss has remained mute over the case.
