INSECURITY: Another Police station attacked, 39 inmates freed as vehicles set ablaze in Ebonyi State~details below
The insecurity in Nigeria has escalated to the point of citizens clamouring for self-defense, following series of attacks infiltrated by Unknown Gunmen, Fulani Herdsmen, kidnappers and Boko Haram nation wide.
According to report a number of (UGS) popularly known as 'Unknown Gunmen' storm Police Station shooting sporadically in Ohaukwu local government area of Ebonyi State, Free Suspects, Set Vehicles Ablaze.
The yet to be identified gunmen in the early hours of Monday invaded Ohaukwu Divisional Police Station in Ebonyi State, shooting sporadically and set vehicles ablaze.
According to witness the gunmen came with two sienna vehicles shooting straight to police station, as they freed about 39 suspects and set at least two vehicles ablaze as security men escaped through the fence and window leaving their weapons behind.
The gunmen reportedly spent about one hour 20 minutes at the time of the attack, an effort to reach the Ebonyi State police command seem abortive as the police spokesperson in the State, Loveth Odah asked our correspondent of this report to call her back.
After about two hours aftermath of the attack some security personell came to the scene.
Many people aftermath of the attack voice out that, the security agency can no longer be relied on or trusted since they are now unable to curb the insecurity challenges crippling the nation as the witnessed series of attacks in the last couple of months.
