GHANA EX PRESIDENT JERRY RAWLINS IS DEAD~details below

 Former Ghana president Jerry Rawlings who have been sick for some time now died on Thursday at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in the country Capital region Accra

Jerry Rawlings was a Ghanaian military officer and a politician who led the country from 1981 to 2001

He seized power twice in a military coup but return it back to democratic regime. He was known to introduce democratic rule to West African countries 

He died in the morning at the age of 73, the current president Nana Akufo-Addo made this known to the media 

Ghana has been silent ever since the announcement of their great leader's departure tag #the great tree has fallen
