Chief of Army staff Lt. Gen. Tukur Burutai held a meeting on Monday with principal Staff officers, General officers commanding and field commanders at the Army headquarter

Col. Sagir Musa who is the Acting Director of Army Public relations explained that the purpose of the meeting was to deploy soldiers to cities to maintain threat cause by the hoodlums who have hijacked the peaceful protest

The Gen. Tukur Burutai witness some atrocious act and mayhem being perpetrated by those hoodlums and groups 

To destabilize Nigeria by all means causing all forms of violence and looting of shops and supermarkets 

According to Col. Sagir Musa the army will work with the police and other security agencies in the internal security affairs 

Gen. Tukur Burutai in his statement said; "he is loyal to president Muhammadu Buhari and will focused and not being deterred from any local or international threats from carrying out their duty of securing Nigerians"
